Coşkun GÖLPINAR
General Manager
GÖLPINAR who started his career within the incorporation of Koç Holding as an architect in 1984 continued on in Akbank A.Ş. again as an architect from 1986 until 1987. GÖLPINAR who continued on with his career in insurance sector worked in Halk Sigorta A.Ş. as manager of Risk Engineering during 1989 and 1992, served as Technical Group Manager in Yapı Kredi Sigorta during 1992 and 1996, became Deputy General Manager responsible for Fire, Engineering and Transportation branches in 1996 until 2004, worked as Deputy General Manager responsible for Marketing, Bancassurance and Direct Sales channels during 2004 and 2013. He served as General Manager in Can Brokerlik and Reasürans A.Ş. between 2013 and 2015. He has been serving as General Manager since June of 2016 in our company in which he started to work as the Assistant General Manager in March 2016. GÖLPINAR graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Architecture Department and he speaks English. He is married with one child.
Arda TUNCAY
Deputy General Manager of Sales and Regional Operations
Arda Tuncay graduated from Istanbul University with a degree in Economics (English) in 1994. He also completed a degree in Tourist Guidance at Cappadocia University between 2016 and 2018. He began his professional career in 1995 as a Senior Auditor at T. Garanti Bank. Between 1999 and 2000, he served as Senior Auditor at Garanti Sigorta A.Ş. From 2000 to 2006, he held the position of Director of Motor and Non-Motor Claims at Garanti Sigorta A.Ş., followed by his role as Director of Motor and Non-Motor Underwriting between 2006 and 2010. From 2010 to 2014, he was Director of Bancassurance and Doğuş Group Sales at Eureko Sigorta. Between 2016 and 2017, he served as Deputy General Manager of Claims at Groupama Sigorta & Groupama Emeklilik A.Ş., and from 2017 to 2020, he continued at the same company as Deputy General Manager of Sales. From 2020 to 2024, he was the Founding General Manager of Ana Sigorta and later served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Ana Sigorta from February to May 2024. As of July 2024, Arda Tuncay has been serving as Deputy General Manager of Sales and Regional Operations at Doğa Sigorta A.Ş. With 25 years of experience in the non-life insurance sector, Arda Tuncay has held senior leadership roles in corporate institutions, primarily focused on agency and bancassurance channels. His expertise spans across sales and marketing, claims, underwriting, and internal audit functions, with a strong emphasis on change management and team leadership.
Mehmet TÜMER
Deputy General Manager - Technical
Mehmet TÜMER started his career in 1992, and having worked in banking and textile sectors for a while, he moved into insurance industry. As an insurance professional, he served respectively as Assistant Manager of Freight Insurance, Corporate UW Manager, Assistant Bancassurance Manager, Senior Manager of Auto and Liability Insurances at Yapı Kredi Sigorta; Senior Manager of Motor and Freight Insurances at Allianz Sigorta; and finally as Assistant General Manager of Auto and other UW, Reassurance, and Pricing at Generali Sigorta. He has been a member of our company working as Assistant General Manager of Technical Affairs since January 2018. Graduated from Business Administration Department of Middle East Technical University, TÜMER is fluent in English..
Ümit GÜLTEKİN
Deputy General Manager of Claims and Legal Affairs
Ümit GÜLTEKİN started his career at the Department of Damages at Allianz Sigorta in 2002, and where he served as an appraiser of Auto and Engineering damages from 2002 to 2003; Supervisor of Special Projects and Underwriting from 2003 to 2004; Auto and Other Damages Supervisor from 2004 to 2005; Project Development Supervisor from 2005 to 2009; and as Asssitant Project Manager of Auto damages from 2006 to 2009. Continued his career at Mapfre Sigorta in the position of Assistant Manager of Damages from 2009 to 2010, GÜLTEKİN then worked as Operations Director of IT and Damages at the company Carglass from 2010 to 2015. Ümit Gültekin switched to Axa Sigorta in 2015, and where he worked as Damage Logistics Manager from 2015 to 2017. Joined our company in July 2017, GÜLTEKİN has been still serving as Deputy Group Manager of Recourse, Damage (MOD-Motor Own Damage) Damage Inspection and Logistics. Graduated from Electrics and Electronics Engineering Department of Sakarya University, GÜLTEKİN also speaks English. He is married with 1 children.
Kuntay BAYDAR
Deputy General Manager of Financial and Administrative Affairs (CFO)
Kuntay Baydar graduated from Hacettepe University with a degree in Economics (English) in 2009. He later earned his MBA from the University of California San Diego, Rady School of Management, completing the full-time program between 2017 and 2019. He began his professional career in 2010 as an Assistant Insurance Auditor at the Insurance Supervisory Board under the Turkish Treasury. In 2014, he was appointed as a Certified Insurance Auditor. With the establishment of the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority (SEDDK) in 2020, he was appointed as Department Head. Between 2020 and 2022, he simultaneously held the positions of Head of Administrative Services and Head of Non-Life Supervision Departments, playing an active role in the institutional structuring of the Authority. During his tenure, he also served as a board member in several organizations. In December 2023, he left his public role and joined Doğa Sigorta A.Ş. as Deputy General Manager. Kuntay Baydar is a licensed Insurance Arbitrator and a trainee actuary. He has successfully passed the CFA Level II exam. In addition to his executive roles, he serves as a lecturer at TSEV (Turkish Insurance Institute), primarily in the field of insurance accounting. He is married with one child and is fluent in English.
Duran ÇAKI
Director of Auto Claims and Logistics
Duran Çakı began his professional career in the automotive industry in 2003. Between 2003 and 2005, he worked as a Spare Parts Specialist at Nissan Gülan Authorized Service. From 2005 to 2007, he served as Regional Manager for Wholesale Spare Parts at Birmot (Otokoç) Automotive. Between 2007 and 2011, he held the position of Service Manager at Çetaş Renault Authorized Service. In 2011, he transitioned into the insurance industry, joining Liberty Sigorta as a Claims Audit Specialist, a role he held until 2013. He continued his career as a Contracted Institutions Specialist at AXA Sigorta from 2013 to 2017. He then worked as Business Development Manager at TOFAŞ Turkish Automobile Factory between 2017 and 2018, and as Claims Audit Manager at Çelik Motor from 2018 to 2019. Since March 2019, Duran Çakı has been a valued member of our team and currently serves as Director responsible for Logistics, R&D, and Business Development. He graduated from Marmara University with a degree in Automotive Teaching in 2005 and later earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trakya University in 2021. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Trakya University. Duran Çakı is married and has two children.
İpek GÜNER
Director of Corporate Sales and Alternative Distribution Channels
İpek GÜNER started her professional career at Koç Allianz in 2002 as Koç Group Affairs Account Executive and worked there until 2006. After that, she sequentially worked as Global Account Manager at Aon Risk Solutions between 2006 and 2008, Corporate Sales Director at Marsh from 2008 to 2010, Assistant Manager of Corporate Region Broker & Captive Agencies at Zurich Insurance between 2010 and 2016. Güner, who joined our firm in 2017 as Major Accounts & Corporate Sales Manager, now works as Group Manager of Corporate Sales and Alternative & Digital Distibution Channels since July 2020.
